In the spring of 2024, a dear friend asked me to create a crystal tree just for her. With a lifelong love of trees, I dove in passionately—perhaps a bit obsessively!—searching for the perfect stones and refining my wire-sculpting techniques to honor the beauty and spirit of trees. I especially enjoy anchoring their roots to distinctive stones.
Each sculpture is an evolving exploration, inspired by Nature, and by fellow artisans from around the world.
Fifteen trees are planned for the current season’s line. Base stones include two raw amethyst, three rose quartz, one fluorite, two lapis lazuli, and merlinite; with two polished labradorite and two black onyx. My goal is always to compliment the stone, and honor the tree.

Rooted in Lapis Lazuli, Labradorite and Amethyst. Trees created with pure copper, silver-plated copper, and brass wires with gemstone beads added to the Willow and Cherry Blossom.

I AM A TREE

My roots are deeply woven into Mother Earth,
Anchored in the wisdom of ages.
My crown stretches to Father Sky,
Reaching for the light beyond darkness.
My branches sing to the Four Directions,
A song of strength, of balance, of unity.
I am formed by the Five Elements,
Breath of Wind, spark of Fire, touch of Rain,
nurturing Earth, and the wisdom of Spirit.
My branches offer rest to Jays, Hawks, and Owls,
Shelter to Bees, Squirrels, and all beings
who seek my embrace, shade, or support,
or even a portal to their imaginations.
I hear the morning birdsong.
I dance in the wild winds.
I glitter with hoarfrost, radiant in cold’s embrace.
I bend with the weight of Winter Snow,
Yet rise with the thawing grace of Spring.
Seasons shift, years turn and return,
I stand rooted, bearing witness.
I embrace all who come, wrapped in love and patience,
A keeper of strength, a well of hope.
